How much space will I need for a bouncy castle?
Leaving enough space around the bouncy castle is important. When you make your bouncy castle selection at the time of booking, we will inform you of the exact dimensions of the inflatable you are renting. In addition, bouncy castles require 4 feet of clearance in the back for the fan, and another 4 feet all around it for the safety mat and so the castle does not come into contact with objects that could damage it, as well as 4 feet from the ceiling if indoors. Please ensure the area you have chosen does not have tree branches in the way, and is not immediately beside a fence.
What kind of access do you need to deliver the bouncy castle to my location?
The castles are wheeled in to position using a hand truck. The Bouncy castle on the hand truck, rolled up, is slightly larger than a 55 gal drum. Therefore in most cases we will need a standard size path and standard size doorways to get the castle in to your garden or venue. If you have a lot of steps or a tight entrance way, please let us know so that we can arrange alternative access if required.
Are Bouncy Castles available for indoor use?
Yes! Bouncy Castles are a great way to get kids moving and having fun in the winter time. All of our inflatables are suitable for indoor use, as long as the ceiling is higher (by at least 4 feet) than the height of the bouncy castle. Please consider all obstructions (lighting, etc) to ensure nothing is in the way that could damage the bouncy castle.
What if it rains?
Bouncy castles should not be used in the rain. During light rain the bouncer can remain inflated but it should not be used during this time as it would become slippery and unsafe. If the rain becomes heavy we ask that you turn off the blower and cover the blower with something to protect it from water damage. If the weather looks like it will be unsafe prior to delivery, we will call you and discuss whether we should cancel the rental and reschedule your event. If we set up the unit at your request and the weather later turns inclement (rain or higher winds), we will pick up the unit according to schedule. However, in this event, no refund will be given.
What is your payment procedure? Do you take deposits to book? What is your cancellation policy?
Full payment is due on delivery of the bouncy castle, prior to set up. Payment can be made via credit card, debit, e-transfer or cash. No equipment will be left unless payment is made in full. Failure to make payment may result in delays/event cancellation. We understand that sometimes circumstances beyond your control occur. As long as the bouncy castle has not yet been delivered, and you let us know as soon as possible, you will not be charged a cancellation fee.
Can you provide a supervisor?
Adult Supervision is REQUIRED at all times. With advance notice, and for an additional fee, we can provide an attendant to supervise the use of the bouncy castle. Safety briefings are always given at set up at ALL events; we require a signature stating you have received and understand all operating and safety instructions. Accidents on equipment generally result from 1) too many participants or mixing age groups on a unit 2) flips and roughhousing, 3) unit not kept secured. Attendants should monitor number and age of participants and ensure they're following rules and acting responsibility. Inflatable stake/anchor weights should also be checked periodically to ensure they are in place.
Who will set up the Bouncy Castle?
We will arrive at the time of the booking and set up the bouncy castle completely, as well as give you a safety briefing. At the end of your party, we will arrive and take care of the complete take down.
How many kids will fit on the Bouncy Castle?
This depends on the size of the bouncy castle you are renting. Please inquire at the time of booking and let us know how many children will be attending your event so we can make a size recommendation for you.
What type of power is required for a Bouncy Castle?
The inflatable should be within 50ft. of a 110v outlet. We will supply the power cord, but we do ask that nothing else be plugged into the outlet being used and that it be a single breaker. If no power is available, we are able to bring a generator for an extra fee.
Do you have insurance coverage?
Bounce Kelowna is fully insured with $3,000,000 of public liability insurance . Safety ALWAYS comes first. We only purchase inflatables made from premium quality, heavy grade vinyl designed for commercial situations and designed for frequent and long term usage. We ensure that every bouncy castle is set up safely, ensuring all manufacturer's recommendations are met and exceeded, every time. Every bouncy castle is anchored at set up, without exception. The Bouncy Castle materials comply with CPSC guidelines relating to toxins, lead and phthalates and do not contain latex.
What area do you cover?
We are happy to bring your Bouncy Castle anywhere from Peachland to Vernon. Delivery outside this area may be possible, and a delivery charge would apply. Please contact us and we will try our best to accommodate your request.
